Nexera financially supported Social Welfare Homes...

Nexera provided financial support of PLN 40,000 to Nursing Homes in Bełchatów, Skarżysko-Kamienna, Tolkmicko and Podobowice. The entire donation will be used to purchase personal protection products for the staff and seniors.

- The entire Nexera team wants to be close to the local community. Every day, our fibre network improves the quality of life, work and doing business of the inhabitants of our Regions. However, we are not indifferent to their other needs. We have proved this more than once that we support local initiatives in the Regions. We know that in the face of current events, the issue of safety and health and life protection is the highest priority. Therefore, this time we decided to financially support Nursing Homes in the Regions where we are developing our network. We believe that we will really contribute to improving the safety of residents and staff of these facilities in this way - says Jacek Wiśniewski, President of Nexera.

A donation of the total amount of PLN 40,000 was received by Social Welfare Homes in Bełchatów (Łódź Voivodeship), Skarżysko-Kamienna (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship), Tolkmicko (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) and Podobowice (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). These funds will be entirely allocated to the purchase of the most urgent protective products, such as masks, gloves, goggles, face shields and antibacterial liquids and gels.

NEXERA Heroes brings support locally

This is not the first Nexera social initiative. The company is actively involved in numerous projects supporting local communities in the Regions, where it builds and manages the fibre network. CSR activities have been implemented since 2018 as part of the NEXERA Heroes program, and the company's employees are directly involved in helping. So far Nexera has financed the equipment of the Modern Multimedia Education Centre at the Primary School in Górniki, made donations to the "Słoneczna Przyszłość" Foundation operating in Busko-Zdrój and the Society of Friends of Children from Sieradz. It has also sponsored the participation in the APLO (Academy of Leadership for Education Leadership) program for four school heads from the Regions. The company not only provide financial support. Nexera’s employees have also built some kennels for the pupils in an animal shelter and took part in cleaning garbage around the Turquoise Lake.
